Michael Wach is a Calgary-based architectural photographer with a background in mechanical engineering and design. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Culture from the University of Calgary and a diploma in Process Piping Drafting from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. His experience as a drafter and designer in mechanical engineering involved collaborating with architects on projects including the Calgary West LRT, the Calgary Centennial Planetarium, and numerous elementary and secondary schools throughout the Calgary region.

Michael has studied under street photographer Maciej Dakowicz and assisted internationally renowned Danish architectural photographer Adam Mørk on projects including the Rocky Ridge Recreation Centre in Calgary and the NAIT Productivity and Innovation Centre in Edmonton. His architectural photography has been commissioned by leading Canadian architecture firms, including GEC Architecture, S2 Architecture, and Group2 Architecture & Interior Design.
